Acting Skills

It is of great importance to read a script, to read the book if there is one and to know the story by heart if you are going to compete in the world of acting. Shakespeare, which is a theatrical author, is using his play Hamlet to give his point of view towards what he thinks it is a good actor.

For many it is simply the one that knows how to make you laugh, for other the one that knows to say its lines as if he or she was actually saying them in real life.  For me it is simple, a good actor is the one that knows how to explain its character perfectly through the small actions it does. It shows us its deepest feelings, not only sadness but depression and madness. A great actor is the one that keeps the audience interest every time he or she enters the stage although it only says one word because in theater you have to be able to call attention.

Shakespeare thought they where the representation of the "modest of nature" (Hamlet, act 3 scene 2, lines 20-21). He is right because an actor faces the stress of having to act someone completely different from its personality, but that is how humanity works, and for me there is no one that knows human behavior, as an actor does.
